To replace the Candela End Cap Lens  on a Candela system, follow these steps:

1. Remove the Fiber Assembly: Place the fiber assembly and laser on an open flat surface
2. Disassemble the Lens Cap: Remove the screw(s) securing the handpiece lens cap at the distal end of the fiber assembly.
3. Remove Optics and O-Rings: Pry out the first o-ring, remove the spacer, and push out the second lens.
4. Inspect and Clean: Inspect the o-rings for cracks or defects. Clean them with Propanol, lens tissue, or cotton swabs, and blow off with filtered compressed air/nitrogen.
5. Reassemble: Install the first o-ring into the lens cap and seat it into the o-ring groove. Position the distal end of the fiber facing up, stack the two lenses with the spacer in between, and insert them into the lens cap.
6. Final Steps: Gently tap the side of the cap to set the lenses against the spacer, continue inserting until the first lens reaches the first o-ring, and carefully remove the cap from the fiber.
