The key differentiator between photorejuvenation and skin resurfacing is the use of light..

Photorejuvenation

Rejuvenation can be performed by a variety of treatments that provide anti-aging solutions. It will aid in treating skin laxity, volume loss, wrinkles, and discoloration. Photorejuvenation is one of the most significant advantages of laser therapy over other forms of treatment. They are less powerful and have less downtime. It is suggested that individuals aged 25 and up receive this medication.

Laser Resurfacing

Ablative and non-ablative laser skin resurfacing are the two forms of laser skin resurfacing. In one or two sessions, the ablative laser eliminates tiny layers of skin to reduce the appearance of scars and other imperfections. The non-ablative procedure, on the other hand, is less invasive and initiates and stimulates the creation of collagen while tightening the core parts of the patient’s skin.

Candela technology

Candela provides Photorejuvenation through the CO2R know-how. The CO2RE by Syneron Candela is a fractional CO2 laser used for skin rejuvenation, decreasing the appearance of age spots, skin laxity, wrinkles, scarring, fine lines, tone, and a thinned collagen layer of the neck, face, and chest.  The CO2RE features a unique dual laser wave that can be adjusted to penetrate the skin at both superficial and deep levels simultaneously.

CO2RE treatment is the finest treatment option for achieving the most excellent results with one treatment and can take some time to rebuild (usually 7-14 days).  Taking It is the best only treatment for advanced skin harm and wrinkling. They are also used to treat acne scarring and recover the appearance of surgical scars and injuries.

Candela offers “eTwos,” a complete facial rejuvenation through curing wrinkles. We can resume it in two exceptional applications in 1 desktop platform for resurfacing, ablation, and wrinkles. First, the Sublime™ handpiece provides a non-invasive wrinkle cure. It uses the elōs® system to associate levels of bi-polar radio frequency (RF) energies and infrared (IR) light to remodel the deep dermal layer of the skin by stimulating new collagen growth.

This expectable heating of the profound dermis stimulates and reduces aged collagen fibers, resulting in direct and long-term upgrading of wrinkles.

Which treatment is better for my customer

There are a few crucial distinctions to consider while deciding which treatment the patients require. You may, for example, give a photorejuvenation treatment if they have fine lines, wrinkles, or sun-damaged skin. However, Photorejuvenation may not be able to deliver strong enough effects when treating deep wrinkles or scars, acne, or trauma. Thus, you should go for fractionated laser resurfacing instead. Furthermore, skin resurfacing provides more comprehensive benefits. It only requires one treatment, “perhaps two, depending on how far you want to go,” but it does require downtime to recover, whereas photorejuvenation does not. Combining both therapy techniques in one session may be possible, depending on your patients’ concerns. If you are a clinic owner or dermatologist, you need to use Candela products for a better quality of treatment. Sanphorus provides Candela machines second-hand for resale. Also, you can refurbish your actual machine through our spare parts with one year guarantee.
